The Third World War, commonly known as World War 3, is the next probable global armed war. Tensions between Iran and the United States, as well as Russia and India, have been rising. All of the most recent news, World War 3 forecasts, and whether or not World War 3 will occur in 2016 can be found here. The term “world war” refers to two prior significant worldwide battles in the twentieth century. If World War III breaks out, who will be the allies, and where will the battle lines be established in the east and west?
Following Moscow’s ongoing major military assault against Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned on Wednesday of the “nuclear and devastating” implications of a third global war. Read the article to find out if World War III will occur and who will support whom.
According to state-owned TASS, Russia’s long-serving top diplomat has stated that a third global war would be terrible.
According to US Vice President Joe Biden, a third World War would be preferable to Washington’s strong sanctions against Moscow. When asked if he was shocked that sanctions were put on sportsmen and journalists, Lavrov stated that Russia was prepared to face whatever penalties imposed on it.
In reference to the Western nations’ embargo and penalties, he stated that athletes, intellectuals, performers, and journalists will be the focus of the sanctions. During his inaugural State of the Union speech on Tuesday night, he declared that “dictators” like Vladimir Putin must “pay the price” for invading another country.
After being invaded by the US, Russia has been barred from using US airspace. According to a Qatar-based news outlet, Lavrov stated that the special operation against Ukraine was intended to prevent Kyiv from purchasing nuclear weapons.
Russia, according to the station, would not allow Ukraine to acquire nuclear weapons. According to the report, he stated that the military action in Ukraine is aimed at disarming the country.
Notwithstanding Ukraine’s responsibilities under the Budapest Memorandum, which required the nation to surrender over nuclear weapons in exchange for security assurances, President Vladimir Zelensky has not ruled out amending those requirements.
Is there a third World War?
As tensions between Russia and the West continue to increase, many fear that the Ukraine issue may escalate into a larger military confrontation.
In the early hours of February 24, 2022, Russian President Putin launched the predicted strikes on Ukraine.
Officials have warned that escalation of the issue might result in Europe’s worst conflict since WW2, resulting in thousands of civilian fatalities and a massive refugee catastrophe.
“This is the most dangerous moment in Europe probably at least since 1962 and the Cuban missile crisis,” warned General Sir Richard Sherriff, Britain’s former top Nato commander.
Putin’s “invasion of a sovereign country” might lead to a “catastrophic war on a scale not seen in Europe since 1945,” he said.
Putin earlier said that Russia had no plans to attack Ukraine but has now reversed his position by launching missiles into the nation in a full-fledged assault.
Russia has also dispatched troops to Belarus, a key ally, claiming the deployment was part of joint military exercises.
Aside from the Ukraine crisis, foreign scholars are concerned about a number of hotspots where China may wish to intervene militarily in the coming years.
China should remain a key focus for intelligence services, according to MI6 director Richard Moore, as it continues to “conduct large-scale espionage operations against the UK and our partners.”
He described Beijing’s “growing military strength” and goal for reunification with Taiwan as a grave danger to world security and peace.
Officials are also cautioned not to misjudge Iran’s condition.
Moore claims that since the 1979 Islamic revolution, the Iranian government has “embraced an explicit doctrine of conflict with both Israel and the West.”
Is there going to be a conflict between Russia and Ukraine?
Putin has declared war on Ukraine, but the scope of the conflict and the involvement of other nations has yet to be decided.
He went on to say that the West was “waking up to a very dark day in Europe.”
The first sign that Russian forces were moving came in the form of a film showing Terminator-style Russian forces captured in Makiivka, in the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), and the neighboring Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) (LPR).
Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, had committed to do all in his power to prevent a Russian invasion, urging Vladimir Putin to “step back from the brink.”
US Vice President Joe Biden also warned Putin that if he decided to invade, he would face “swift and severe costs”
Putin has warned that if Ukraine joins NATO, nuclear war might erupt, accusing the West of “complete disregard for our concerns.”

The Third World War has already begun, but maybe not on the battlefield.
Nonetheless, the United Kingdom, the United States, and other allies were just responding to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s conduct in Ukraine in the most heinous way imaginable short of armed confrontation.
The fundamental concern is whether the two sides have the discipline and/or desire to keep this larger conflict from devolving into a full-fledged military conflict.
It is a delicately balanced equation that emphasizes the fragility and ambiguity of the border between peace and war.
How conflict between Russia and the West may erupt?
There are various potential flashpoints that might spark a global conflict.
NATO allies, for example, have indicated unambiguously that they would not send troops into Ukraine to assist Ukraine’s armed forces in defending itself.
From the moment the two sides begin murdering one other in direct combat, such a step effectively amounts to a declaration of war with Russia.
The West has used the same logic to reject President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s and his government’s increasingly passionate pleas to impose a no-fly zone over Ukrainian airspace.
NATO has stated that such a step, which would undoubtedly diminish Russia’s capacity to conduct attacks against towns and cities, so sparing civilian lives, would entail Western airplanes engaging in battle with Russian jets, perhaps triggering a far larger war.
